For the next three weeks, through the end of March, I will be traveling on a couple of shooting assignments. I am also taking a week to attend at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops in New Mexico. At the workshop, I will have the great privilege to work with Joe McNally on lighting and location photography. Vincent Laforet will also be teaching a class, at the same time, on video documentation with dSLRs. Vincent is a renowned blogger on video production. While I am not officially signed up for his class, I will take this opportunity to meet him and harvest a nugget or two, insights on shooting video with the Canon 5D MKII. This can only improve our production and product output here at Alpine Rose, certainly upon my return. Of course, a great southwestern meal or two will not be too awful either.
